Om'at Tributary
Om'at Tributary has long been neutral territory between the Sun Dynasty and Eyirath Kingdom. Once it included Firefly Grotto, and frequently its heavily wooded lands have been used as a battle ground for control of that most desirable settlement. The waters themselves run shallow usually, over rocks and under brush, from the falls of Firefly Grotto. Three distinct fingers spread lazily, and in the wet seasons widen into a veritable rapids to be carried down to the Phantom Veil and eventually beyond, detouring to let out into the Summer Sea. Crossing the Om'at Tributary can be quite tricky when the rains have been falling heavily, depending on which part it is you're trying to cross. Fortunately, most of the time it is a burbling creek, moving along steadily but nowhere near deep enough to cause grown lions any issue. Cubs or smaller residents of As'dra may still have difficulties, but that just means that they can fully play and swim in the waters of the Om'at Tributary, heedless of any potential undertows that develop as the waters rise and fall. There are tales of some who'd gone missing in the Om'at Tributary, only to turn up on Issan Estate worse for wear and soaked to the bone; those who heed these tales often take particular caution even when the waters are shallow.

Golden Dew Rise

When one reaches the endless rolling fields of golden grass and wildflowers to the south of great Yggdrasil, they've found Golden Dew Rise. The earth is soft and loamy beneath the feet, leaving clear tracks for all who travel the gentle slopes. Should one happen to dig deeper into the earth for some reason, they may discover numerous bones contribute to the fertility of the land in Golden Dew Rise; not just of various prey animals but lions as well. From afar, the golden hills glitter on the horizon with the magick of the earth's bounty, as the fields were once cultivated with care and attention by those who came before the current kingdoms of As'dra were even established. The rumored history of Golden Dew Rise suggests it once had a group who traveled regularly to Yggdrasil and back, for what purpose few can guess.Little is known about the group, but their work withstands the test of time; among the more common grasses and wildflowers, rare plants can be found growing from deep boxes, unkempt and untamed without their previous gardeners but easily recognizable to those who would use them for healing. Uprooting these plants seems impossible, they're so firmly entrenched, but the plants themselves prove more potent than others of their kind as well. According to tales, Golden Dew Rise and the ancient garden that resides there has survived numerous disasters, with little to no ill effect. It is a land considered blessed by Yggdrasil.

The Gullet

Surrounded on all sides with jagged rocks along the beach instead of soft sand, the Gullet is inhospitable to those who would sail to its shores, with no real place to bring the boat in to dock. Instead, those who wish to see the beautiful lavender fields and explore this mysterious island are better off going for a short swim, either from a ship nearby or simply from Issan Estate to the south or Golden Dew Rise from the east. Once this hurdle has been overcome, however, the Gullet is serene and welcoming. No trees grow on the island, leaving plenty of room for the flowers to bloom from one shore to the other. Legend says the flowers were planted by a pair of lovers, and grew more numerous with each happy year they had together. Now that the island is fully covered, many consider it a romantic hotspot and make the swim with their love, or in search of it. The most discerning feature on the island is the tall stone altar that can be found somewhere within its borders. Pale enough to stand out even in the dark of night, large enough to hold two lions if they squished together, and eerily clean of dirt and debris; those who seek out the altar rarely find it in the same place twice, yet strangely it can always be found so long as one goes looking.
