They'd begun this adventure with no expectations, open hearts and open minds. Whether they would wander for a lifetime or settle down in some place they fall in love with, Beelzebub cares little — so long as she is doing it with Cassine. The days blend together into weeks, moving from one camp to the next and discovering a new adventure at each before they move on, taking in all that the world has to offer them.
She can feel Eira on one shoulder and Asmund on the other, guiding her to a purpose she does not yet understand. And as for Odin? He looms in those dark clouds overhead — her omnipresent shadow — casting a rumbling gloom across the mid-morning sky. If not for the persistent spattering rainfalls the past few days, she might have had a better inkling what she is being pushed towards; but as it is, all signs of their intentions are obscured, and she has only the ceaseless nudge of their presence to shepherd her path. With Cassine scouting for food in one direction, she goes another, following a narrow footpath that's shouldered on both sides by tall, green grasses. The leaves droop at their ends, heavy with rain, and her paws leave noticeable indentations in her wake, paired with the faint squelch of every step. Off in the distance, on the rise of a hill and obscured by the boughs of a tree, she can faintly make out a burly figure whose inherent familiarity makes her heart lurch. {"Father?"} she whispers, frozen upon the path below and squinting hard at the blurred shape; surely, her gods will not start playing tricks on her now. Non-family should only refer to Beelzebub as "Bee." She is very superstitious about revealing her full name and will not do so unless you are extremely trusted.
